Ponsawan Souvenir Silverware Shop was founded over 50 years since the grandfather generation, Mr. Its shop is located on Wualai Road, Haiya Sub-District, Muang District, Chiang Mai. The business has been run since then until now. Nowadays the business is operated by Mr.Thirawat Anekwitchayanon, previous name Mr.Thanes Anekwitchayanon. In 2003, it has registered a business name as Ponsawan Souvenir
and stared to be the silver jewelry distributor. The main products initially being sold are necklace, ring, bracelet, pendant, earrings, and silver bowl. Then, with love of silver jewelry business, the owner is interested in the manufacturing. In 2005, the owner established the manufacturing plant and recruits many skillful and professional craftsmen. Each piece of work is produced by using pure silver complying with the manufacturing standard. Each work has its own uniqueness, modern design, and exquisiteness. That’s why the shop is well-known gradually both domestic and international. In the later year, the shop increased the product line of gem jewelry and added new categories of products which are silver home decoration and silver cutlery. In addition, the shop also manufactures the products by customer’s request and order. This increases both old and new customers and the shop becomes notable and acceptable from domestic and international country. The main countries being our customers are Italy, France and USA. We expect that the later year our business will grow and expand in various countries. The outstanding point of Ponsawan Souvenir is the complete manufacturing and distribution. Our shop has its own manufacturing plant where we can control both cost and quality. That’s why our product prices are reasonable. Moreover, our products have their own attractive design and pattern. Most of them are modern, unique, outstanding patterns, but still remain the identity of Lanna. This craftsmanship is designed by Mr.Thirawat Anekwitchayanon, who won the third prize in the competition of silver jewelry design to international market provided by Department of Industrial Promotion. Regarding to the product quality, the professional craftsmen of our shop pay extra attention to each product and produce them with care and punctiliousness. We also guarantee our products by providing the warranty card to each product. If there are any damages to the products, we are pleased to fix and repair for customers.
