The Beginnings
For 20 years, our bags has been made by the local families of Chiang Mai, Thailand. All of bags are made by hands, one by one, with our love and carefulness. Khun Panuwat, the owner of “Cattleya”, was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 1986. In earlier years, the shop is known as “Laithai Cotton” and ran by his parents. It was only a small local handmade shop, selling goods for Thai pe

ople as well as foreigners. Khun Panuwat always helped his parents running business and looked after the shop. After Khun Panuwat finished his university studies in 2013, he actively grow his family’s business to become bigger and better. He established the brand name, “Cattleya” after his beloved people; his girlfriend “Kat” and his sister “Pattreya”. In addition, “Cattleya” happens to be his most favorite flower in the whole world. Nowadays, “Cattleya” is the most famous cotton bag shop in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We always keep our customers happy by making the best quality products. Cattleya also contributes to the local community by training more local families to build on their expertise in this handmade work. We also distribute our products to Malaysia and Singapore and will expand to other countries in the near future.
