เคยสงสัยไหมคะว่าทำไมร้านถึงชื่อ PIQUE pique? 😊
ลูกค้าหลายคนมักถามเราถึงที่มาของชื่อร้าน วันนี้เลยอยากเล่าให้ทุกคนฟังค่ะ
จริงๆแล้วชื่อเล่นของเรา คือ "เก๋" และเพราะเราเป็นพี่คนโตของบ้าน และเป็นคนเชียงใหม่ ที่บ้านจึงมักเรียกเราว่า "ปี้เก๋" ซึ่งคำว่า "ปี้" ในภาษาเหนือ แปลว่า "พี่"
ต่อมาตอนเราอายุประมาณ 3 ขวบ มีการแข่งขันฟุตบอลโลกที่ประเทศเม็กซิโก แมสคอตประจำการแข่งขันในปีนั้นมีชื่อว่า "Pique" ซึ่งออกเสียงคล้ายกับคำว่า "ปี้เก๋" ที่ทุกคนในบ้านเรียกเราอยู่แล้ว เราจึงเริ่มถูกเรียกว่า "ปิเก้" ตั้งแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมา และเราก็ยึดชื่อนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งชื่อเล่นของเรามาจนถึงทุกวันนี้
หลายปีต่อมา เมื่อถึงวันที่ได้เปิดร้านของตัวเอง เราจึงเลือกใช้ชื่อ PIQUE pique เพราะชื่อนี้ไม่ใช่แค่ชื่อร้าน แต่เป็นเรื่องราวเล็ก ๆ ที่อยู่กับเรามาตั้งแต่เด็ก

Have you ever wondered why my shop is called PIQUE pique? 😄
Many customers have asked me about the name. So today I'd love to share the story behind it.
My first nickname was Kae (เก๋). Since I'm the oldest child in my family and I'm from Chiang Mai, everyone called me "P'Kae" (pronounced P*e Kae). In Northern Thai, "P'" (ปี้) means "older sibling."
When I was about three years old, the FIFA World Cup was held in Mexico. The tournament mascot was named Pique, which sounded very similar to "P'Kae."
My family loved the coincidence and started calling me Pique as another nickname. I've kept that nickname ever since.
Years later, when I opened my own shop, choosing the name "PIQUE pique" simply made me feel more like myself.
It's more than just a shop name—it's a little piece of my story. 🥰
