DIARY INDIGO is a brand created to help preserve the traditional fabrics of Phrae, a city in northern Thailand. Phrae has a living heritage of dyeing indigo cloth, which is called “Mor-hom” in Thai; Mor-hom fabric is created by dying with Kram (indigo plant), and well-known as a natural indigo-dyed fabric. They are produced by local artisans, whose knowledge and techniques have been passed down fr
om generation to generation. The designs on our Mor-hom fabrics are created by hand using rolling, twisting and tie-dyeing techniques. As they are a natural product, our garments are attractive, lightweight and have a soft texture. The designs are also unique and full of charm and individuality.
