Fresh tropical colors of the Thai summer at Fermosura: "Summer Cantaloupe" authentic Baan Krua Nua Thai silk pillow cover, made on an old loom powered by a foot pedal, at Fermosura.com. For our visit to the historic Baan Krua Nua silk weaving atelier for Nashville Interiors, see http://nashvilleinteriors.com/stories/fluid-threads-visiting-one-thailands-last-remaining-silk-ateliers/ Back is a pure linen from Italy in the same color interwoven with white. The pillow is shown against the background of a fabric printed from artist John Grande's Hummingbird painting.
Other photos are of sights along the Saen Saep Canal, an old waterway which transects central Bangkok on its way to the old part of the city where the temples and palaces are found. Along the canal are fascinating vestiges of old Bangkok.

Silks in the colors of sunlight for summer🌞
At Fermosura.com, "Rosy Dawn" and "Summer Cantaloupe": two-sided decorative pillow covers made of authentic, hand-loomed Baan Krua Nua 100% Thai silk from one of the last remaining workshops, owned by the son of an original supplier of Jim Thompson before the company brought production in-house. The backs of both pillows are made of fresh 100% linen made in Italy, respectively in pink or cantaloupe shot through with white.
These apparently solid colors both reflect light to produce tonal variations because the dominant hue is composed of two colors of thread. From some angles, they look like golden sunlight is reflecting off them. Consequently, they are bright, yet nuanced.
