After enjoying a wonderful experience of Cultural Holi in Sangla, I was off to bed with bunch of colorful memories.
Next day morning when I opened my eyes and the scene which was first captured by my eyes first and then the phone. it was something exhilarating to experience the natural bliss. I literally had to pinchh myself to ensure that i m not in a dream. An outstanding view of snow covered mountains n places around.
Himachal Pradesh is also known as snow laden region and is famous for its abundant natural beauty.
I was so fascinated and got mesmerised after seeing view from my cottage of snow carpet rolled out everywhere.
Yes....it is not a Switzerland. It is non other than INDIA !!!

The Holi festival is celebrated sprightly across the country with various cultural traditions in every region.
This season I thought of spending my holi in Sangla... A snowfallwali Holi. Sangla, a small hamlet located in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh on the banks of River Baspa.
Holi in Sangla is a way of inviting blessings and announcing arrival of spring. It is not just a festival for them but more of an old tradition and culture. They celebrate holi with the customary beliefs, values and norms...where numerous souls gather together to share, commentate and embrace the joy with some different mind-blasting things. Mens of Sangla dress in a classic way, picking up character from epic Ramayana. Parade begins with people marching from one village to another. It continues different vibe and bonzer aura with the beats of trumpets, drums and unique vibrant energy.
Its another day for me to be proud of my country and its culture.

One fine morning I found my heart tripping in the air of happiness. Rolling in the laps of mountains. Lost in the beauty of nature.
Knowing what peace feels like,
knowing what happiness looks like.

So when these tiny balls hit my skin, I close my eyes looking at the sky, happily lost in the verses of a story. Picturing the perfect life. A life where chaos meets peace and storm knows the calm putting all the unanswered questions at rest.
That is when you realize what breathing mountain air has to offer.
And you smile, slightly, knowing beautiful is life and how gorgeous you can look even in the maze of mysteries!
Step out of your houses to inch closer to experience the colors of life. Step out of your office cubicles, for your heart need an escape and a rainbow to thoughts. Because there will always be more to life; left to discover.
