DEMCO, the renowned manufacturing company with international success was founded in 1991 by Johnny De Meirsman, CEO of the group and his wife Sihem Bouguila – De Meirsman. The two branches, Jeanswear & Knitwear, are fully integrated and produce finished products of renowned international brands.

Each garment combines post-consumer recycled cotton with a fully developed digital twin, enabling smarter decision-making, reduced sampling, faster validation, and more responsible product development.

By connecting physical craftsmanship with advanced 3D workflows, we’re helping brands move from concept to collection with greater efficiency, transparency, and environmental responsibility.

We are proud to share that DEMCO has been recognized by GIZ Tunisia within the CQE – Qualitative Growth for Employment project. Among 45 companies supported, including 18 in the textile sector, DEMCO was the only textile company specifically assisted in calculating its product carbon footprint, alongside one company from the agri-food sector.
This recognition reflects the reliability of our internal energy monitoring system and the quality of our primary data on raw materials. The result? Emissions from Demco’s production process represent only 25% of the global average for a pair of jeans, demonstrating our concrete commitment to decarbonization and responsible environmental practices.
