Green Energy vs Renewable Energy – What is the Difference?
Renewable energy comes from sources or processes that are constantly replenishes.
These sources of energy include solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy , and hydroelectric power.
Green energy is energy that comes from renewable, zero emission sources that do not pollute the atmosphere when used, as well as energy saved by energy efficiency measures
In order to be deemed green energy, a resource cannot produce pollution, such as is found with fossil fuels. This means that not all sources used by the renewable energy industry are green. For example, power generation that burns organic material from sustainable forests may be renewable, but it is not green energy, due to the CO2 produced by the burning process itself.

It should follow that the term eco-friendly, when added to services or products, indicates positive, or at least not harmful, effects on living things.
