Biodiversity is not only protected in nature—
it is shaped by how we produce.
On the International Day for Biological Diversity, recognized by the United Nations,
we focus on reducing the environmental pressure created across the denim lifecycle.
At Calik Denim, our innovations are designed with this responsibility in mind:
· Revo-Su eliminates water use in dyeing and finishing—
reducing pressure on freshwater resources and helping protect aquatic ecosystems.
· Dyepro enables dyeing with zero water and no chemical waste—
preventing harmful discharge into waterways and supporting biodiversity in aquatic environments.
· Washpro reduces the need for frequent home washing—
helping minimize microfiber shedding during washing cycles, and contributing to the reduction of microplastic pollution in oceans.
· B210 allows denim to biodegrade at the end of its life—
preventing long-term textile waste accumulation in natural ecosystems.
Because biodiversity loss is often the result of accumulated impact—
on water, soil, and ecosystems.
By reducing waste, eliminating harmful outputs, and extending responsibility beyond production,
we aim to contribute to a more balanced relationship between industry and nature.
