We try to control everyone around us.
We pay more attention to negative things.
We carry the burden of past with us.
We take decisions emotionally.
We compare ourselves with others.
We allow our past to haunt us.
We try to impose our thoughts on everyone.
We don’t try to sort out conflicts.
We are more interested in other’s life.
We never try to achieve what we want

a miserable life to me is someone who can’t experience life and all it has to offer. “existing but not living” says someone (i forgot who but it stuck with me since the first time i heard it). not everyone has the same way of experiencing life but that’s a journey for individuals to explore. it’s all on the person to make it count.

An example of a miserable life is my life.

I suffer from low self-esteem (this is the killer), PTSD (this is the tormentor), OCD (this is my insanity), and identity issues (I don't know who I am, and where I belong).

I have never had a girlfriend and I get traumatic when I see women of my in-group with men of out-group (i.e., Japanese women with non-Japanese men (e.g., Armenian, Persian, Arab, white, black, Mexican, Chinese)). I have another issue but I will not bring it up here.

It sucks being me. Trust me. I'm short, fat, hairy, balding, short on money, and all the mental illness that I mentioned above. It stinks. This is a miserable life

We are miserable because
1) We think we are not miserable
2) We are not aware of what is going on in our lifes and in our bodies
3) We are not conscious of anything. We are living the life in the sleep mode, doing everything automatically.
4) We are afraid. We are afraid to change. We are afraid to embrace new ideas.
5) We are full of hatred. We hate ourselves and everybody else. We hate other cultures, other ethnicities, religions.

6) We are wasteful. We waste. We waste water, we waste electricity, we waste time, we waste emotions. We waste pretty much everything.
7) We do not appreciate. This is connected with our hating nature. A hating, unloving, depressing being most humans are.

These are the top reasons I can find why we are in such misery.

Why is everybody’s life so sad, and miserable? Everyday is a new bad day, and we all end up feeling sad, or pathetic at the end of the day, and then comes the day where we all die and become ashes.

I am truly miserable and feel qualified to answer this “exactly.”

Being miserable is a constant state of negativity with moments of despair. It is a deep relentless emotional pain along with long term grief that never gets resolved.

The misery doesn’t fade when with people, but rather it becomes magnified because I see how Un-miserable other people are who may have harder lives in some ways.

The misery is a sense of aloneness but not just the fact of being alone, but the inner turmoil that comes from the relentless loneliness of my life. No matter who comes and goes, I feel extremely lonely and have no sense of peace of mind.

Anguish is the best adjective to describe my misery.

A miserable life is a life without happiness and a life without anything to look forward to. When you have a miserable life, you would rather just sleep life away, a dream world is better than reality. No fun, loneliness, jealousy and frustration. I'm a 19 year old with Aspergers and I've been depressed for years, I feel alone in the world. I will never get to experience a lot of things normal people get to experience. Parties, friends, life experiences, making college memories, connecting with people, etc. A miserable life, is a life that you can't stand living, but there is nothing you can do about it really

Lived in Scotland4y

I know some people that live over there and they seem to like it.

They don’t work in Edinburgh though. I gather that driving across the bridge twice a day during rush hour is a pain.

St Andrews is good if you like Golf and Universities.

Cupar is a good solid functional town.

Better to find someone that lives in “The Kingdom” and request an answer from them.

Sorry I could not be more help Idris…

Glaswegian, le***an and after 65 years knows a lot about a l4y

Fife is very mixed. St Andrews in the north is lovely and has a famous university and even more famous golf course, but rather expensive to buy a house in. It’s handy for Dundee just across the Tay Bridge which also has a university and a reputation as a centre for games development, if that’s you’re interest. At the opposite end, Dunfermline is a nice old town with some industry, but its major advantage is being handy for Edinburgh, being very close to the Forth Bridge. Between Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy is an old abandoned mining area; places like Cowdenbeath are very run down. Kirkcaldy is a
