Same movement, a new approach to finishing.

The defining detail of this new interpretation of the Balancier 3 is a finishing technique applied for the first time in Greubel Forsey’s history. The curved titanium surface of the large central bridge is entirely hand-finished using a steel brush, creating a deep matte texture.

The result is a new balance between light, surface and architecture.

In a new era of commercial space exploration, IWC Schaffhausen introduced the Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive, a model developed from the ground up for human spaceflight.

Tested by VAST and certified for flight on Haven-1, the world’s first planned commercial space station, the watch was designed to meet the unique demands of space.

The 44,4 mm white ceramic and Ceratanium® case was engineered to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations, while the in-house Calibre 32722 delivered a 120-hour power reserve.

The dual-time display was designed to allow simultaneous tracking of mission time and Earth time.

As Watches and Wonders Geneva comes to a close IWC Schaffhausen celebrated the 90th anniversary of its Pilot’s Watches this year, highlighting a vision that extends its heritage from aviation into space.

The collaboration with VAST space brought this vision to life while the boothdesigned with inspiration from a space station offered visitors an immersive experience centered around space exploration.

The GMT Balancier Convexe represents one of Greubel Forsey’s most advanced interpretations of the GMT complication. On the dial side, a rotating titanium globe displays the second time zone along with a day/night indication, while on the movement side, a city disc featuring 24 reference cities is revealed.

The titanium case has been redesigned to offer a more compact and ergonomic profile, and provides water resistance up to 100 meters.

The GMT Balancier Convexe features Greubel Forsey’s signature 30° inclined balance system at the heart of its mechanical architecture. The hand-wound movement is composed of 496 components and delivers a 72-hour power reserve thanks to two series-coupled barrels.

This construction reflects both the precision and the mechanical architecture of the timepiece.
