This year’s Summer Fall ”The Weavers of Light“ —
It delves into the ways modern women embody the resilience of 해녀 HAE-NYEO (female divers) amidst life‘s storms, the unwavering strength of Tadao Ando’s polychrome sculptures in their simplicity, and the spirit of the Weaver Girl (a female knight-errant) who no longer waits for the Magpie Bridge but instead crafts her own universe.
This year, our autumn/summer advertising photography and production unfolded on the beautiful shores of JEJU Island, South Korea.
We intertwine the untamed beauty of Jeju Island, the raw elegance of Tadao Ando‘s concrete artistry, and the enchanting imagery of the ”Weaver Girl“ from Tanabata to redefine the essence of feminine strength in ”The Island of the Ama,“ crafting a contemporary tale that is ”both powerful and tender, creating its own universe.“
In the traditional context, Qixi Festival embodies the themes of ”waiting and longing“; however, in our narrative, we will redefine this notion - ”Weaver Girl“ transcends the role of a mere figure awaiting rescue, emerging instead as the visionary and creator of her own realm, intricately woven with light and shadow.

”A self-reliant woman who crafts her own essence with brilliance, depth, and contours.“
We embody the essence of the ”Spirit of the Sea Women“ through the raw beauty of exposed concrete – this unembellished material reveals the most authentic texture of its form; just as the HAE-NYEO‘s natural skin, hair drenched in seawater, and eyes shaped by the relentless battle against wind and waves reflect the purest, most primal strength.
