Previously, homemade dumplings were the most festive meat dish. The whole family made them in the evenings for a whole week in advance. But all the New Year's days one could throw these "ears" into the water and literally in a few minutes already eat with pleasure with a home gourmet. And the manti also delighted the soul when a whole mountain of these beautiful half-roses - half-envelopes was smoking with steam in the center of the table on a huge platter.
Then came the era of all sorts of chops, steaks and huge cuttings, whole baked. They were pickled, stuffed with spices and vegetables, fried with and without breading. Yes, what they did not do to show off their ability to cook pork or beef at the highest level.
