Just finished this tulip watercolor, and I’m in love with the mood it created. The background is a deep forest green—rich, calming, and a little mysterious—letting the violet petals truly glow. I wanted the tulip to feel delicate but bold, almost like it’s quietly stealing the spotlight. Watercolor gives it that soft flow, where every petal feels alive and in motion.

One of my favorite illustrations for the upcoming calendar— a playful corgi pup surrounded by the delicate beauty of Moon Queen flowers. I loved working on the intricate line art, keeping it minimal yet expressive, allowing the details to shine without the distraction of color. There’s something truly special about capturing the essence of nature with just lines.
