Melt the butter. Add eggs, melted butter, sour cream, 1 tbsp to the flour. a spoonful of sugar, salt and soda. Knead the dough, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out the cooled dough on a 0.5 cm thick board and cut out a circle. Place the circle in an oiled pan. Cut the rest of the dough into thin strips and leave to decorate the cake (in the form of a wire rack).
Peel the apples, core and cut into slices. Put the apple slices in a saucepan, add 1 glass of sugar, pour in lemon juice, sprinkle with cinnamon and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes.
