Here’s a little video about what we do at Repulo's Atelier . Photoshoots are a big part of our work, but this one was extra special. We had the amazing George Pimentel, the famous photographer who captures celebrities on red carpets and at all kinds of events, take the photos. It was an incredible experience!

The way you will cut a garment fabric the way it will it will fit the body☝️

I guess everyone of you have ever met at least once in a lifetime such situations as:
🙀 A t-shirt that you try to iron but can’t put the side seams together as they don’t match at all.
😾 A pants that has the left leg different from the right one. Or side seams on one leg that are skewed and how hard you try to straighten them out, ironing or pressing, when you put it on it still looks skewed and doesn’t fit your body.
😿 Garments that absolutely changed it’s shape after washing
😼 Slits, vents, leading edges that sticks out.

And other interesting situations that might not happen if the garment would be cut properly. At our factory we have professionals who are responsible only for fabric cutting.
It is a very important step in garment production and it includes:
- Making sure the cutting table and equipment are clean
- Choosing the right cutting method (it can be a hand cutting using scissors, cutting a couple of fabric layers using a special blade cutter etc)
- Preparing fabric for cutting. Spreading it on the table the right way, determine the face of the fabric, checking it for the defects, checking the fabric shrinkage etc.
- Laying out a sewing pattern the right way on the fabric and cutting it.
- And many more small, but still very important responsibilities of a fabric cutter

Making one of these steps wrong can actually destroy the final look and fit of the garment tremendously.
