Following consultations with our partners and stakeholders, Uganda International Fashion Week (UIFW) 2026 has been rescheduled and will now take place from 31st August to 5th September 2026 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

This decision has been taken in alignment with current Government health and safety guidelines and in the best interests of our participants, partners, guests, service providers, and the wider community. We remain committed to delivering a safe, impactful, and world-class Uganda International Fashion Week experience.

UIFW remains fully committed to its mission of empowering women, girls, youth, and creatives through fashion, skills development, market access, and enterprise growth.

Between 2003 and 2009, Connie worked with leading international designers in New York; Matthew Williamson, Emporio Armani, Alek Wek 1933 and in Milan – Maurizio Peccoraro. In Kenya, Connie is actively engaged in the development of the local fashion industry.
