I’m working on my first rag quilt. As I stand here piecing the blocks together, it reminded me of the years when my boys were younger, standing in the kitchen making sandwiches.

Fun fact: one loaf of Evangeline Maid bread, thin sandwich loaf, makes 13 sandwiches 😅

I smile every time I look at this quilt. It’s all boy and so cute, plus the lighter weight dot minky for the back makes it soft and cuddly. We quilted it for this lovely lady and the binding she added was perfect!! 🤩

Abbeville Louisiana holds a yearly tradition each November.....Omelette Festival ! What an honor it was for us to complete a T-shirt Quilt for one of the group's members! Anyone wanting one of these amazing quilts representing 12 different images from the past events give us a call!!!!

Pretty nice Saturday - quilting for a customer, a break for a wonderful crawfish boil for lunch (yum!) then a couple more hours of quilting. Such a lovely quilt ❤️
