Just a reminder, Fairy Tale Fashion does not currently have a physical location, if you are looking to drop off donations please message to arrange a drop off location.
We are working in establishing a mobile program that will allow us to travel to the communities that request our services.

Today's work party got quite a bit done, but there is still a lot to do.

We will be holding another work party Wednesday evening this week to try and get as much done as possible before we pick up the clothing racks and inventory on Saturday.

We will be in need of volunteers both Wednesday evening and Saturday as well

So it's a definite go ahead with our new location!
We will be located in the Moore Wright Group warehouse (the old middle swanson's) upstairs in the mezzanine.
We will be open for dress gifting and exchange two weekends a month, and will limit the number of individuals in at a time to maintain social distancing and all that.
Before we can open though there are several things that we will be in need of. If you would like to help or make a donation we would greatly appreciate your support and involvement.

Items in our list of needs include
Deep cleaning if space
Painting of space
Paint -charcoal grey, burgundy and gold are the colors we are going with
Floor covering -either carpeting throughout or a floor coating (paint or epoxy something like that) to cover and seal the old cracking tiles
Clothing racks- current calculations show that we need 9-two sided five foot sections, 6-five foot extender bars that go between sections and 10 or 12 wall mount single side racks
Plus hangers and size labels

So I have been crunching some numbers and doing some sketching and here is what I am working on in regards to setting up our new location.
Here is a rough sketch of how I think the layout will go, and a list of upcoming volunteer and donation needs

Any help of course if greatly appreciated, I do not have a scheduled day for any of these activities yet, but they will be in the weekends for the most part

I am pleased to announce that it is looking like we have a new home for Fairy Tale Fashions, and will most likely be set up and able to distribute the gowns and tuxedos that we currently have on hand by the end of April.

However, the space will be in need of a deep cleaning and we will need to get creative on clothing racks as we have none left from previously.

I would love to have volunteers to help clean up the space and perhaps spruce it up a bit (although the sprucing can wait it need be until after this year's prom season)

Please let me know if you are interested and available to help out.

Also dress donations will be accepted, due to limited space we will be attempting to avoid a lot of the costumy like pieces (please no eighty's prom at this time) and will only be accepting dresses in usable condition (no tears, no stains, no broken zippers etc)
