Rosy Hoge made this Quilt of Valor which features a panel surrounded by snowball blocks and patriotic stripes. I stitched an all-over star design using a light tan thread to give some texture to this pretty quilt.

Another Quilt of Valor from the Blue Star Mothers #1 group from Nebraska City. This one features a large patriotic panel in the center surrounded by several borders. I stitched an all-over star and swirl design called Stardust using white thread.

Cathy Heetderks made this sweet quilt which features wide rick-rack on the roof lines. I stitched an all-over heart design called Pieces of My Heart using a light tan thread. This is such a fun quilt!!

The Blue Star Mothers #1 group from Nebraska City recently made this interesting Quilt of Valor which features Several panels of Navy airmen. I stitched an all-over star design using a light grey thread to complete this top.

Vicki Johnson made this colorful quilt for her granddaughter. I stitched an all-over swirl design called Pageboy using orange thread to complete this very special quilt.

Deb Wolken brought this antique quilt top to me that came from her husband's family. It consists of 3,321 hand-pieced rectangles!! After doing some research I discovered that I could quilt it on my long arm quilting machine. So I handled it with extreme care and stitched an all-over dense swirl design called Outside In using white thread. Now this antique quilt has a new life!

My dear neighbor, Elvera, had finished all but four of these pretty embroidery blocks. I finished the last four and put them into a quilt top. I then stitched a design which followed the hand-quilting markings on each block using white thread. I also stitched wishbones with yellow thread in the sashing and piano keys with green thread in the outer border.

This antique quilt came from Deb Wolken's husband's family. It appears that it had originally been tied but then had been taken apart at some point. I added new backing and batting and then stitched an all-over vintage design called Swirly Gig using a light yellow thread to give it a new life.
