was pleased to serve this sweet bride as she traveled home to Serbia for her wedding. I cut off the train and created her custom over-jacket for covered shoulders in the beautiful church. She was a joy to work with and I was happy to make her design dream become a reality!

Prom Season-such a busy time for me! was pleased to provide skilled alterations to help these young ladies look and feel their best. One alteration on the blue was the addition of matching finger loops at the sides of the skirt so she could walk (important!). I also added the lace appliqués to the deep burgundy dress.

So I recently installed a waist-stay in a prom gown. An elastic band is threaded through channels (installed on the boning) on the inside of the bodice, just below the breasts, and hooked in the back. It provides extra support for a strapless gown. I also created a covered headband with what I trimmed off the hem and a long ostrich feather.
