Kitties of all shapes and sizes make new friends at the Albany Public Schools! Neko and Gato visited ASH and New Scotland this week. Many very creative handprint kitties and happy kindergarten kids!

Neko and Gato have been to TOAST! In the last month our favorite kitties have been introduced to 150 of the school's kindergarten and 1st graders. After a reading of the book Albany scholars made pose-able Gatos and handprint Nekos. Check out the awesome kids with their kitties!

Neko and Gato made the long journey to Chennai India this summer where they met an incredible group of students at the Lalaji Memorial Omega International School. The children read the story and then made the finger puppets shown in these photos!
One student in particular, Sreevatsarav, warmed our hearts when he told his teacher Ushma Govan: "Everyone can understand that if somebody tease us we should ignore them and also we should help everyone. If we need help then only we should ask help. Always be independent."

Flat Gato the music lover.. check him out at the House of Blues studios! Not sure he can play guitar with his three legs, but he can certainly dance!

Flat Gato spends some time in Boston. Here he is helping out with cleanup at Rosie's Place women's shelter... what a helpful kitty! Then we see him taking a break on a bike ride along the Charles River to admire the view... beautiful!

Everyone needs a mentor! Here's Flat Gato visiting his - a giant four legged gold one honoring Babuji Maharaj. This little kitty has done some serious traveling this summer! Thank you Isaac for letting Gato stow away in your suitcase!
