Some projects are extra special to work on 💙

My brother-in-law shared a very close bond with his grandpa, who passed away recently. He asked me to create a memorial pillow from a pair of his grandpa’s overalls so my niece could have a meaningful keepsake. I couldn’t let the extra fabric go to waste, so I turned them into this sweet little pinafore! 🥹

Pieces like these are such an honor to make, and I loved being able to help turn a grandpa's overalls into something that can be loved for years to come.

Happy to report I've already made a mess of my office while cutting out dress pieces! 💁‍♀️

Elrich is happy to have his replacement dog bed after going without all week. (He has a couch in the back of the building, but he's a stage 4 clinger and has to be right next to me all day long 🫠)
