Finally getting around to sharing these baddie 🐍 on the last day of !
I started them during a trip with my fellow knitting/sewing buddies but was still recovering from ankle surgery and only managed to cut and learn how to do appliqué - I’m not a sewist☺️ but learning how to make pockets was so enjoyable! I’ve graduated to a cane that my mom added turquoise to and let’s pray I didn’t curse my other leg by putting a very taboo animal on it😬
I’m feeling more like myself everyday and starting to even get back to the gym for some movement! I’ll never take for granted going on a simple stroll again. 🥰

Today is MMIW Day ❤️

National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls always hits heavy. Thinking about all the women, girls who should still be here—and the families who carry that every day.

I wanted to share a few patterns I have up right now:
🧶 a knit shirt
🧶 a bulky knit scarf
🧶 a knit cowl

If you’ve been wanting to cast something on, this is a way to do it with intention.

I’ll be donating 100% of all MMIW pattern earnings through the month of May to Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women to support the work they’re doing in our communities.

Wear red if you can, say their names, and keep paying attention. ❤️
