We want to wish our regular customers a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! We’ve been closed this week due to a combination of too much revelry, some illness and temporary burnout. However, we hope to resume normal hours starting next Wednesday, January 7. Looking forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Apologies to our customers! We have been out sick (the Balloon Fiesta was just too much excitement), which is why the shop has been closed for a week. Welcome Spring with some new or vintage fashions and jewelry. Stock up on vinyl from our targeted collection of 60s and 70s rock LPs (and a few other genres, too). We don’t do e-commerce for a reason… our store is the experience. We’re at 323 Romero St., NW, #3 in Old Town Albuquerque. We generally roll in between noon and 1 on Wednesdays through Sundays. Come visit us and, if you’re a dog person, meet resident doggo, Buster. He stays in the back of the store, though, so you have to ask for him by name. 🙂😎🐶

HOW TO ENTER THE VINTAGE HIPPIE JOINT:

DON’T… Stand on our doorstep trying to decide whether or not to come in. We know our store is a little different and maybe looks imposing to some, but we promise you won’t get stoned or otherwise addicted to any harmful substances when you enter. Besides, all of those eager customers behind you can’t get in when you linger.

DON’T… Barge through the front entrance in a big hurry, because we’ll think you’re here to steal something. Just relax. It’s probably the weekend or you’re on vacation anyway.

DON’T… Come inside and just stand there. We know it’s sensory overload when you come through the front but, again, all of the eager customers coming in behind you might knock you over. We don’t want any accidents.

DO… Take your time. You’ll need it to see all the stuff my wife has crammed into this place. So, here’s how: 1) Come through the curtain at the front entrance, 2) Head straight or turn right without hesitation, 3) Don’t forget to look up; there’s nothing for sale up there but the stuff hanging from the ceiling is pretty cool to look at, 4) Listen to the music playing on our 1960s turntable and stereo system and, of course, 5) Buy something! We have so much neat stuff, we don’t think that will be a problem.

Have a new turntable? Starting a record collection? We’ve got hundreds of 60s and 70s rock albums (some blues, jazz and country, too). You won’t believe our collection. 😳🙂🙂🙂 (Of course, we have clothing, vintage housewares and ma*****na accessories, too). We’re open five days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays, so come see us at 323 Romero St #3, Old Town Albuquerque. (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
