Sugar Lace Lingerie was founded by Adrianna Tenorio and is now run out of Las Cruces, NM. She first started her work in Chicago, where she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She pursued both fashion illustration and design, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. "I strive to create objects and images of beauty; to create a fantasy, a mood that can completely immerse one

into that piece; away from reality and into something beautiful. My work also plays with the feminine, whether it is hyper feminine figures, being glamorous and fashionable; soft ethereal angels, or bold, risqué and powerful women. In my drawings as well as my accessory and lingerie design I am able to tell a story, create characters, create a fantasy and give that to the viewer or wearer. I can give them something beautiful to look at and enjoy, just for its aesthetic pleasure or to wear and feel changed; beautiful, playful, and confident." "Beauty is what takes you away from reality, it pulls you into itself where you can linger and revel in it. It makes you feel different, changed; satisfying both the eye and the soul."
