Our Flor de Mayo Folk Art Fest was a success; great weather, beautiful artwork, community.
Today we are back to work at La Parada.
We have the perfect Mother’s Day gift for everyone who played that significant role in your life.

And now let's appreciate my incredible mom. She cares so deeply for her family, the land, the store, the event, the vendors, the performers, her team and every single person who attends the event.

She makes sure that each vendor is promoted with their best foot forward. Guiding them to their spots in the morning and providing coffee and donuts. And she walks around to see how their sales are going. Celebrating when she hears they had a day of abundance and feeling pained when she hears someone didn't do so well.

She makes sure to spend every dollar that comes in to make the event a success tirelessly marketing and responding to messages. For two months she has worked on the Flor de Mayo theme purchasing flower items to sell, planting flowers, making paper flowers and other workshop ideas.

And even though she could hire someone to do it for her she is the one out there doing all the physical work too marking vendor spaces, setting up cones and signs. Hauling trash and taking everything down at the end.

She is a thoughtful hostess and every single one of us who step foot on the property feel the blessing of her care and consideration.
