Pt 1 for my niece's quilt!

I found these fabrics at a quilt show in my area. I knew nothing about designers at the time, but I now know that all the fabric but the center panel is by , designed for .

I just fell in love with the design and colors and knew I had to make some quilts for my niece and nephew. This is from her line.

I think the most difficult part of this was doing the math and those elephants out of the pink and blue fabric.

Whew!! What a project! Started it sometime early-ish November, and the recipient, my nephew, finally received it today and called it "The best blanket evaaaaa!"

Machine pieced and hand quilted with glow in the dark embroidery floss.

Finally got all three layers basted together a couple of days ago. It took up my entire kitchen floor! Trying Elmer's washable glue this time, not sure if I like it, but I still have to quilt it. I just love this quilt. I'm sad I have other projects I need to start and get finished for Christmas presents because I'd love to make another Ghost Party quilt!!!
