🎂BRA BIRTHDAYS🎂
I know some of you are gonna get a laugh out of this: Your bras should never have a birthday! (I know some of you keep some geriatric bras in that underwear drawer! 👵🏻)
My first Evelyn & Bobbie wirefree bra (the navy bra in the photo!) was sent to me by the company as a sample. The moment I put it on, I ✨audibly sighed in relief✨ and got super excited for y’all to get these bras! I probably wore it at least 2x per week for a year, rotating with other bras. At some point, it started to feel less supportive, and I could tell my bustline was sitting lower. I replaced it, but still kept it in emergency rotation in case I fell behind in handwashing.
Cleaning out my dresser last week, I found that navy bra and, out of curiosity, I compared it to a fresh-out-of-the-box Evelyn bra in the same size and IT ALL MADE SENSE.
L👁️👁️K at how the band AND straps stretched over time! The old bra is TWO INCHES larger in band and one inch larger in straps! It’s NOT just this brand or this style it happens to — ALL bras stretch and relax over time, because they are working hard (YES, even if you are in a smaller cup)!
