rvice of our country, While in the service he was responsible for keeping the sewing machines and vacuum cleaners in good running order. l He was an expert on sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. Gilbert Gresslin served his country well and after leaving the service he went home to Spencer, Iowa. l He opened a sewing machine and vacuum cleaner repair shop and had it running for many years very successfully. He loved helping individuals and decided it was time to write his knowledge down so individuals so individuals were able to repair their own machines and make extra income for their families and this is how the Gresslin Information Center of Sewing Machine and Vacuum Cleaner was founded. It took a very long time for all the information to be written down along with having clear pictures and easy to follow text so individuals would know exactly what they were doing. This was not an easy task as it took many hours to accomplish this task. The manuals are not just a few pages with little or no information but are a complete set of manuals with much information. He wanted anyone who purchased his manuals to understand the information and become an expert at doing the repairs correctly. There is no doubt about it. The sewing machine and vacuum cleaner profession is one of the fastest growing professions in the world today. High schools, hospitals, nursing homes, colleges, dry-cleaners and many more need their of having sewing machines repair. Gilbert and Mary Gresslin knew there was a lot of information and individuals could go as fast or as slow as they wish to complete the manuals. Gilbert Gresslin knew this was a prestigious occupation and he knew it was a great way for individuals to increase their income working for someone, opening their own store or working from home. Ronald and Myrna Bishop purchased the written manuals and after carefully going over all the information opened the Bishop Sewing Machine repair shop in Alexandria, Ohio. It was very satisfying to be able to hep customers who were in need an we knew when the machines left our shop they were in the very best condition. Satisfied customers make a lot of business spreading the news you give great service. In 1994 Gilbert Gresslin became ill and contacted Myrna and Ronald Bishop to see if they wanted to purchase the Gresslin School. In February 1994 Myrna and Ronald Bishop purchased the school from Gilbert Gresslin which included all copyrights, manuals, etc. Myrna and Ronald Bishop changed the name from Gresslin School of Sewing Machine and Vacuum Cleaner Repair to the Gresslin Information Center for Sewing Machine and Vacuum Cleaner Repair. All information remains the same. Gilbert and Mary Gresslin had the manuals in printed form and it was sold as such for years. Myrna and Ronald Bishop felt it was time to place the information onto a CD for individuals to purchase. We felt by placing all the information onto a CD we could lower the cost and help more individuals be able to get started on having a future business. The CD'S and printed material can be used for easy reference when working on sewing machine and vacuum cleaners. Remember all the manuals and CD'S are very complete and very easy to understand. These are not manuals with little or no information but a complete set of repair manuals. The majority of the manuals deal with the repair of sewing machines with just a few on vacuum cleaners.
