We all get songs stuck in our head. Most of the time it drives us crazy! Lately, I've had a song stuck in my head that isn't irritating me, but driving me forward. I am obsessed with Francesca Battistelli's Breakup Song. Now I love ALL of Battistelli's songs, but lately, this song has motivated me to continue to push myself daily.
Two years ago if you'd have told me that I was going to start an entire second career in the sales industry I would have laughed you out of the room. Me? A salesperson? NOT! I couldn't sell a warm blanket to an eskimo if it was on sale!
Now, this second career of mine has enabled me to do things I never saw myself capable of. All of a sudden I am managing my own team, in control of my own business, and contributing to my family finances in ways that I didn't think possible. The best part? I'm the boss. When I'm not feeling it, I don't. When I feel invincible, I AM! And at the end of the day, I feel good about myself because the only boss I have to satisfy is me. (And that lady is totally satisfied with my on the job performance.)
So, let me ask you. What would you do if Fear was not a factor? Would you take a step out on faith knowing that you are the only thing holding you back? Would you allow yourself to seize the opportunity to own and operate your own business with the ultimate goal of financial freedom? What would you do?
