My sweet Evelyn started kindergarten AND turned five on Tuesday.🥹🥹
My heart can hardly handle it. She’s my last baby and this is the final first day of kindergarten I’ll ever walk through😭
For five years, it’s been me and her. Bagel shop Fridays, school drop-offs and pickups, my sidekick at every class party, my errand buddy, and dance partner when ever music comes on. She laughs at everything, smiles at everyone, and hugs every soul (yes, even the guy at the car shop 😂).
She’s pure sunshine. And even though I’m so proud of this next step, is it bittersweet. The end of an era and a start of a whole new part of life. My brave, joyful, kind-hearted girl — you’ve already made this world better just by being in it.
Happy 5th birthday, my love. Happy first day of kindergarten. And thank you for five years of being my best little buddy. 💖

My baby boy turned 8 years old yesterday & I still can’t believe it’s true.

It feels like yesterday I was on the way to the hospital with to have Jameson - contemplating how in the heck I was going to raise 2 under 2 with no family around.
As always though, God knew what he was doing and had it all figured out for me. He gave me Harper’s best friend (and Evelyn’s protector), Rich’s best buddy, and my snuggle bug.
Jameson is strong willed, doesn’t like to lose and always wants to be right, but gosh is he thoughtful, sweet, funny, caring and the biggest lover of quality time.
I hope you never change and that you keep growing into the young man I know you’ll be, but until then, please stay little for a little while longer 🥹💙

Official Pre-K graduate. 😭😭😭

I still can’t comprehend that my baby is growing up. This beautiful little girl who used to crawl those pre-k halls is now walking out of them for good. 🥹

The only thing keeping my heart together is knowing that she’ll be going to kindergarten where her big brother and sister are. 💙

My sweet boy made his First Holy Communion this Saturday! 🙏💙
He was also chosen to do the first reading at his mass and he did absolutely amazing! It is not an easy thing to get up read in front of a whole congregation, especially one with your peers in it — but he crushed it!!! We are so happy & so blessed that Jameson Jay now has received the body and blood of Jesus Christ! Amen!

I’ve tried to comprehend a world that didn’t have you in it all today & I still can’t bring myself around to believing this is how it will be going forward. A reality of never being able to FaceTime you with the kids, visiting you and bringing your favorite meal, or a family party without you is one that I, childishly, never thought I’d have to deal with. 😞

You were a fearless woman that handled everything with such strength, resilience and undying faith. You’ve endured so much in your life, but if someone who didn’t know you met you, they never would’ve known it because of your faith in God. Your love, your kindness, your laugh, our day dates together & your smile will never be forgotten. 💙

Gigi, I hope you’re your peaceful now, embracing God’s grace & dancing with all your angels & loved ones. Until we meet again — love you forever 💙🥹🙏
