2025 was a year of WORK. 💪

A year spent painting, teaching, creating, listening, showing up for communities, and pouring heart into murals, classrooms, workshops, and young people who deserve to see themselves reflected in art and possibility. Every wall, every program, every brushstroke carried intention, discipline, and love for the work. 🖼️

This path has no blueprint. It’s been built through dedication, faith, and the belief that art can heal, unite, and empower. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been meaningful, and every step forward has been earned through consistency and commitment.

2026 is a year of GROWTH. 🪴

Growth in vision, impact, reach, and purpose. More stories told, more communities connected, more lives touched through creativity and courage.

Grateful to everyone who has walked beside me, supported the mission, trusted the process, and believed in what we’re building.

Art saves lives. This lifesaving work will only be amplified in 2026. There are too many young people counting on it.

The l.o.v.e story continues and it’s only getting stronger.

This piece, “The Locker of Impact,” began with a simple idea…that doctors, nurses, and caregivers carry so much every day.

I pictured a physician sitting outside their locker, preparing for the day ahead. Behind that door are the tools of their trade, but also the weight of what they carry, compassion, courage, and care for those facing illness, sometimes terminal ones.

The sticky notes represent reminders of why they do what they do. Each note carries a word from a guest. Words such as compassion, freedom, healing, research. All reminders of purpose and hope.

The Paxman logo sits inside the opened lock. Someone placed the word freedom there, and it felt right. Paxman’s work provides hope and with hope comes freedom.

As I painted, I thought of my own family. My mother survived breast cancer. My sister fought a six-month battle with esophageal cancer before passing. I felt her presence in every brushstroke.

This piece is for her, for my mother, and for everyone who continues to fight, heal, and give.
