Never Say Never Farm A spinner's flock of fine wool sheep: yarn, roving and raw fleece for sale. Our original plan was to get a couple of sheep to supply my personal fiber habit.

That is why I refer to them as “a spinner’s flock of fine wool sheep.” They were chosen with an eye for exceptional fineness for my own spinning wheel and the yarn that would become next-to-the-skin soft, wearable garments for my children and grandchildren. The flock is made up of registered CVM’s (California Variegated Mutant – a rare and desirable color pattern within the Romeldale breed), Merin

os or CVM/Merino crosses. Jesse and Mitch each have just a bit of Australian Bond, Palmer is the only Merino/Corriedale cross we have and Rose is our wonderful Border Leicester. Our flock is a pampered and spoiled bunch that enjoys high quality hay and grain which in turn helps them produce the finest fleece possible. Most of them wear coats year round to keep the hay, straw and dirt out of their fleeces and protect the tips from the sun and weather. As you can see their coats get very dirty but, thankfully, the fleece underneath is clean and beautiful.

We are a member of The Livestock Conservancy and are participating in the "Shave Em to Save Em" campaign. You can purchase the products from our flock of threatened Romeldale/CVM sheep in my Etsy shop.
