Sweet Posey and Jett’s…

I have a story for you…

As a small business owner one of the most rewarding opportunities is to meet and build personal and professional relationships with the companies in which you proudly display and sell at your store.
Most often it is the sales representatives who we meet and work with which is a blessing as well. You meet so many wonderful people.
Over the years I’ve traveled to trade shows and one year I met the president of Warmies. The product that created my business. As I introduced myself and told him the store I represented he knew immediately about Posey and Jett’s. I think by his reaction he was as honored to meet Me (Posey and Jett’s) as I was meeting him.
Another year I flew to Vegas to tour and meet the company leaders of Kawaii Slime. This was such a big product for me that I wanted to learn more about them. It was such a fun experience and opportunity.
Then on Friday as a greeted a new guest into the store we chatted and she introduced herself as the niece of one of my favorite toy lines I carry at Posey and Jett’s. I absolutely could not have been more honored that she would visit Posey and Jett’s. I asked her to please thank her family for creating such incredible toys for kids of all ages. She said she’d be happy to do that for me. We said good bye with an open invitation to come back any time.
Well, that any time was today when a large family walked in to Posey and Jett’s. Again, as I greeted them, welcoming them when the gentleman introduced himself as the son of this companies owner. Then he introduced his sister, each of their spouses and all their precious babies and toddlers! I kid you not I felt like I met the most famous people in the world. My heart was beating fast and my hands a little shaken. But still composed I shared a little about Posey and Jett’s during our visit as we exchanged information. I’ll be in touch this week he says with his good bye. To say my heart was filled with so much joy and hope is a complete understatement. One of the things that impressed me most was how humble each of them was. So very kind and a complete honor to meet. My day felt complete as my heart just soaked in the opportunity I just had. I sat down for a minute to finish soaking it all up when it happened again. This time it was the sister of the owner, the aunt and uncle of the kids who were just there.
They had purposely sent her and her husband there to meet me. You’ll love her and her energy they told her!! ☺️ I was so embarrassed when she told me what the others had said. Thankfully it was getting towards the end of the day and the store was getting quiet. That then gave us the opportunity to talk about the other products in the store. Some they were familiar with and some they weren’t. So of course I had to share all about Maileg Mouse and Tabitha Paige with her plus some others. They thought it was super cool that I had CandyLab Cars so they purchased those for the kids.
Friends, I think this was seriously the most amazing and special day I’ve ever had at Posey and Jett’s. After as difficult as this last year has been and starting my business all over, this time by myself, I don’t think there is anything any better that could have been a better blessing than to meet what felt like the entire family of FATBRAIN TOYS!! 🧸 Needless to say I’ll be expanding this collection of superb toys as soon as I financially can! I’m still working on baby steps but I’m getting there thanks to YOU my incredible guests and companies like FATBRAIN that’s rewarding to sell and my guests are proud to purchase and gift to others. So next time you stop to visit be sure to grab a new toy from the FatBrain display!!

OH MY GOODNESS….

My Sweet Posey and Jett’s….

I just have to show you what came in today!! My heart is racing with excitement and with the feeling of thankfulness for this new chapter surrounding me!!

For the first time at Posey and Jett’s we now have TRUE BLOOM COSMETICS and NAIL KITS for our precious Daughters, Granddaughters, Nieces and Friends! A truly natural, kid friendly non-toxic collection of first makes-ups and nail polish!! And I must say how beautifully packaged they are. Absolutely ready for gift giving just as they are!!

We also received another first. While we have carried Holy Pals previously and currently we’ve never carried their coordinating sleepers and blankets together. This will be a growing collection as your interest in Christian gifts continues to grow! We also received three NEW Waffle Blankets in three precious baby colors. These are a must have baby gift!!

And Finally we received another order of Maileg Mouse!! Who’s ready to take their Mice on a bicycle adventure?? Or maybe you’d rather turn the music up and dance the afternoon away at the new Mouse Dance Studio!! Either way we can help you accomplish the open and imaginative play your little heart loves doing!!

Friends, I’m so thankful to be able to offer you so many wonderful, high quality and keepsake toys and gifts at Posey and Jett’s. There’s just a little more work for me to do before the transition is complete but oh, I just can’t wait to show you all the incredible and wonderful toys and gifts that you can depend on me to continue with!!

Oh Sweet Posey and Jett’s!!

A few words from my HEART today! ❤️

THANK YOU!!! Thank you for an amazing week back to school!! I always expect the store to settle and quiet during this time that our families return to the normal of the school year!!

But this year was different, this year YOU made a difference in our traditionally quieter week! This year you still shopped Posey and Jett’s for your special gifts, reward toys for a week well done at school, baby gifts and gifts for the upcoming holiday season. THANK YOU for remembering Posey and Jett’s.

I’ve been spending the last 6-8 months starting over personally and professionally here at Posey and Jett’s. I’ve been rebuilding and becoming a place that you love to shop and visit! The place you share with your friends and invite them to come with you! THANK YOU!!

While I hope that Posey and Jett’s is always a place you can come for the best quality gifts I also want you to know that we value each one of you. That you are our guest, you are seen here and you are always important to us.

With a new look about Posey and Jett’s, and a new start of my solo status of running Posey and Jett’s I also want to take this time to introduce you to three people that keep myself and my business going, first my irreplaceable and friend store manager Amanda, my sweet Riley and my new behind the scenes accountant and friend Kim. These three women have been my life line this last year. While I fell apart personally they not only supported me but the kept the love and the passion of Posey and Jett’s alive.

It’s a new chapter for me and for Posey and Jett’s and I want to THANK each one of you for all your love and support too! So many of you loving me, encouraging me and hugging me when I so desperately needed it!! THANK YOU for your sweet visits to see me.

But now it’s time to start showing off all that I’ve overcome and all the new great things happening at Posey and Jett’s!!

It’s Me again Sweet Posey and Jett’s!!

We have been given an update from P&J Construction about our Mousey 🐭House!! 🏠

The foundation and walls of the new Modern Mousey House 🏠 went up quite quickly allowing for the doors, windows and shutters to be completed next. By the end of the night the roof was added and the Modern Mousey House was moved into position on the Posey and Jett’s city acreage!

Their new house is three stories tall. A main floor, a second level and then a finished attic! We’ll have to be excitedly patient to see how our new Mouse family decorates their new home. I’m sure there are to be a few adjustments as they unpack and settle in over the next few days. Moving from the countryside to the city is a big adjustment. But hopefully their vintage country home will be complete and moved into Posey and Jett’s by mid November.

In the meantime they will call this beautiful house their home! If you’d like this model of Mousey 🐭 House 🏠 I do have one available!!

Well, tomorrow is supposed to be the big moving day!! We’re just waiting on the movers to arrive at Posey and Jett’s Acres!! I’ll be sure to share once they arrive!!

Hey Sweet Posey and Jett’s….

Here’s an update on the arrival of Maileg…🐭

While we are waiting on the moving truck to arrive with all our new mice friends and their furniture I hired the new construction company P&J Mousey Home Builders to build them their first home here in the United States. It’s going to be absolutely gorgeous for them and will be available for any other local mice by request!! As we break ground for their house we will be anxiously awaiting for a few neighbors to start building around them. Building a Mousey community will take a little time but I’m sure when the first set of neighbors arrive it will be an exciting time to celebrate! The moving truck is expected to arrive late tomorrow afternoon or early evening. Depending on how exhausting they are from their trip I’ll plan to unpack them once they arrive. If they get delayed they may have to hunker down one more night in their box motels. 🏨

In case you’re wondering here’s a picture and the sizes of our soon to be Mousey Friends.

I’ll keep you posted on their much anticipated arrival!!

Sweet Posey and Jett’s…..

It’s me again! Let’s talk Maileg 🐭…

Our first order has been placed! I don’t know for sure what’s been ordered as I had our sales rep order the best fit for a first order! As soon as I know I’ll try to post for you. I do know she ordered the Princess and the Pea and the Ballet Mice! 🐭

But with our first order being placed that means we have to start preparing our 2nd order!! This is where I need your help! Please comment below the pieces you are wanting to purchase and I’ll start that next order. 🐭

I want all you Moms who have been asking for Maileg to know that you’ve completely sucked me in to your little mouse 🐭 world and I thank you for that! 😆😆😆So much so that I have a Names List started in my notes on my phone. 🤣🤣🤣 🐭

By nature when I get invested into something I love I want it all, just like many of you. That’s my goal for Maileg. Please be patient with me as we place each order to build this collection of adorableness!! As many of you know this last year has been a HUGE transition for me personally and professionally. I’m still having to take baby steps at rebuilding my business but I’m headed in the right direction because of YOU!🐭

So please walk patiently along side of me as we build Maileg (and Posey and Jett’s) to every thing we can imagine and more!! 🐭
