First job in the new shop! I should have moved in first! Lol

2026 f250 getting the 100a victron dc-dc setup (dual orion xs 12-12/50) to complement his Lithionics/Victron system in his Airstream Classic

I dont have any finished pictures, but he can control it via his upfitter switches, utilizing TrailerVision components and has a removable pigtail for easy replacement in case of damage (vs ripping it completely out of the trailer)

Well, it's been a long few weeks since my last post about the shop. I appreciate all my customers being flexible with this schedule, and possible delays.
Yes, its missing power, doors, trim, lights and hvac. All of which is coming in the near future! (Maybe Supercharged Electric Solutions will cut me a promotional break! 😂😂)

But for now, flooring and insulation is done, its water tight and looks great on the inside, and its time to get back to work!
Those of you that helped out on this project (you know who you are, especially Harvey from Harrels Welding ! ) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I couldn't have done it without you!

This gorgeous 2024 Leisure Travel Vans Wonder RL traveled over from Georgia to Pagosa Adventures for some much needed updates.
Out came the the 2x100ah dragoncry batteries, and Xantrex 2kw inverter

In place went a triplet of Epoch essentials 300ah batteries, Artek Energy lynx mounting plate and some Victron goodies along with a Xantrex Freedom Xc pro 3000. Its a tight fit, but works well.

Also a pair of Orion xa 12-12/50's handle the 100a of dc charging from the engine alternator and a soft start added to the Truma Aventa air conditioner to round out the package.

Road tripping comfort wont be limited by generator or propane any more for this great couple!

Here's the second Airstream this week.
2025 27fbt Globetrotter.

Quite a serious power package.
700w Lumera bifacial solar panels (5x140w)
Epoch Batteries 300ah essentials (x2)
A whole host of victron goodies, and a pair of orion xs 12&12/50 dc to dc chargers for 100a of truck charging via installed cabling and anderson connectors on the truck.
All tucked inside the front compartment with room for up to 2 more batteries.

He also recieved a Truma Aquago Comfort plus water heater with Airstream skin applique, a starlink mini poe/router setup, Maxim skylights and 2026 ceiling registers for better cooling.

Here's the first of 2 Airstream trailers upgraded over the last couple of weeks.
The owners of this 2021 classic wanted better battery capacity and pretty decent off-grid power. A pair of Epoch Batteries 300ah essentials for power, and victron supporting equipment, including mppt, shunt and Multiplus ii 2x120.
Space is at a minimum, so they opted for an under dinette approach, along with 3 additional 90w Zamp solar panels on the roof . Additional videos and Pictures in comments

After an upgrade on a new 2025 Airstream Globetrotter... This comparison was pretty obvious. Merlin 100w panel vs a Lumera 140w bifacial solar panel.

A little narrower and a little longer nets 40% more power without much effort. Complete build coming up soon.

Here is a really cool project i was super happy to be a part of at A&P Vintage Trailer Works in Paradise Tx, we really pushed the skill sets of every team member to bring this trailer back to life.
A very popular airstream fan gave this trailer to her mom as a mother's day gift. After a bad experience with some east texas highways left this trailer in the ditch with a VERY smashed side and previous damage didn't leave much to work with. This top 7/8's of the trailer was torn down all the way to the floor, and completely rebuilt with new systems in place (cuz lets face it, '50's plumbing and electrical is sketchy at best.) It got completely new exterior skin, hand built/ bead rolled segments, new hand built ribs,new interior skin, and all the furniture placed back in. It was literally a new 1952 trailer built in 2022.... Please like and share for more content like this, and to really give Anne & Paul (A&P) a huge kudos for taking it on!

Jeff and Colette were on their way through from New Hampshire to the wild west. After a quick overnight stay we had the opportunity to install clear glass and a new shade in the door of their beautiful 2026 Airstream Classic. Installed with buck rivets vs olympic rivets for best performance and an OEM look. Happy campers heading towards the sunset!

A loyal customer came in for some basic maintenance and some troubleshooting. During his wheel bearing service, I found the hand tight "tight" and the bearings to have metal flakes and damage to the rollers. i also found some poor electrical connections in the 7 way junction box. With these items remedied along with fresh bearings and proper preload on the hub nut, he will be good to go for a couple more years of safe travels!

PSA, if you have serviceable bearings, please regularly have them maintained at least every two years, or if you have a lot of travel miles each year, more frequently or before a long trip. (Usa to Alaska, or coast to coast travels...)
