Breshears

We want to give a huge shout out to Stevi Breshears for her donation of hygiene products and cat/dog food! Thank you, Stevi!

SNAP does not cover everything. We have teamed up with P3 - Panhandle People's Pantry. We are both located in our new building space at 1308 SW 8th Avenue, Amarillo.

Together, we decided to give back to anyone in our community that needs help with food, pet foods, hygiene products, paper products, cleaning products, winter hats, gloves, etc. Items are added frequently.

If you are in need of any of these items, PLEASE come see us. No questions asked. No paperwork.

Our hours for this are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1:30pm to 4pm.

If you need items or wish to donate items, please come by and see us. If for some reason we are not here, please call me at 907-519-1530. We are everywhere, but usually nearby. Kathy

PS.: We are participating again, this year, in The Panhandle Gives. Please keep us in mind.

👑 The Difference Between a Crown and a Ladder
We often hear the word "empowerment," but what does it actually mean? 🤔

Empowerment isn't like being handed a 👑 crown—a fancy title or someone else's approval that can be taken away.

It's more like being given the 🪜 tools and support to build your own strong ladder. It's the moment you realize:

It IS: Having the courage to use your voice, even if it shakes.

It ISN'T: Needing to be loud or aggressive to prove your worth.

It IS: Knowing your value and walking away from what no longer serves you.

It ISN'T: Expecting others to fix your problems or cater to your needs.

Empowerment is the fuel, not the destination. It's the inner strength that makes you unstoppable.

Share this post if you believe in building your own ladder! 👇

We Are Lifting Up Our Community Neighbors!

Four Winds Empowerment Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering resilience, self-sufficiency, and positive change within our community. We believe that everyone who is struggling with homelessness or is at-risk deserves the tools and opportunities to build a brighter future.

We don't just help; we foster and encourage empowerment that allows individuals to become the architects of their own success. Our work is driven by a commitment to practical, impactful programs that address the root causes of systemic challenges.

Our Core Program: The Path to Empowerment
Our signature program is designed to provide comprehensive support across key areas of personal and professional development. This program is built on four fundamental pillars (or "winds") of support:

1. Education & Training
Skills-based workshops, literacy programs, and certification courses. Equips participants with in-demand skills for job readiness and career advancement.

2. Mentorship & Coaching
One-on-one guidance from experienced professionals and life coaches.
Provides personalized support, accountability, and a powerful network.

3. Resource Access
Direct connection to vital community resources, including housing, food, and childcare.
Removes immediate barriers to stability so participants can focus on growth.

4. Wellness & Stability
Workshops focused on financial literacy, mental health, and physical well-being.
Cultivates the personal resilience necessary for long-term success.

Your support is more than a donation; it's an investment in the human potential of our community. Help us reach our goal and continue to build a stronger, more resilient future for everyone.
