I am so grateful to all the wonderful folks who attended this event and helped to put a smile on the faces of those less fortunate.
We made new friends, had a lot of laughs and created adorable but uniquely different Easter Bunny Baskets that were very well received by both the Adult Day Care Center on Maplewood and Meals on Wheels.
If you'd like to join us in our endeavor to bring a little happiness into people's lives, then watch this page for our next charity event, scheduled in April. The craft will center around the sentiment of Earth Day, recylcing and repurposing, and the happiness of our residents in need.
My apologies for being late on posting and to those individuals to whom I did not recognize with a photo. Apparently, I became too wrapped up in the project and did not take the photos at the opportune time.
One last note: if you have in mind a charity or group of needy individuals (in hte local area) that you feel would benefit from our small gifts and would be receptive to them, please contact me. We want to help.

Look at these sweet faces. Who could resist spending an afternoon with them crafting an Easter Bunny Basket?
My thanks goes out to the moms who brought there little ones to the Moonbeam Jar for a craft workshop. I loved spending time with you and your children. If you enjoyed it, too, please like and share our page with others. It is through your support that our business continues to thrive.
Thank you for choosing us and I hope you will consider us for another event. Don't forget, we offer Ladies' Night Out, whenever you ladies are ready for a well-deserved break from your 24-7 job. We focus our workshops to meet the needs/desires of our clients so don't hesitate to ask.
FYI - we also host parties and showers in our upstairs suite.

What a wonderful group of ladies! A big thank you goes out to all of them for giving up their evening to create Candy Bouquets for the residents of the Maplewood Personal Care Home.
There is nothing that compares to a mix of fun, laughter and creativity. Plus, it is always a plesant suprise to watch the creation of something take place and then see the final product emerge. I think everyone was amazed at how all the parts came together to make such adorable Valentine's Day gifts.
Thank you, ladies! And don't forget to save those "1/2 gallon" plastic bottles for our Easter basket project. See you then. Also, please tell your friends and neighbors...they might be able to use an evening out doing a kind deed for their community.

Well, it's a cold, snowy day and only more of those to come. Don't vegitate in front of your TV; brave the cold and help bring a little cheer to someone's life.

Join us tonight for just 2 short hours to make Valentine Candy Bouquets for the Maplewood Rest Home residents. We promise laughter, creativity and a sense of pride.

Lite refreshments will be served but, as always, you need to bring whatever you wish to drink with you.

CHARITY CRAFT EVENT

Getting ready for tomorrow night when we will be making candy bouquets for the Maplewood Rest Home residents. Two hours of your time can mean a smile on someone's face, who is less fortunate.
PLEASE JOIN US! The cost is just $3.50 to cover our supplies.

Stangl's Bakery, Touched by Time, and The Moonbeam Jar are asking you to spare a Christmas gift for someone less fortunate this year. We are collecting simple gifts for the residents of the Maplewood Rest Home. The wish list is below and there is a drop box in each of our stores. One of these simple gifts could really bring joy to these special residents of Ambridge!

Vintage Inspired Arrangement Just finished this holiday decoration, created using a vintage milk bottle carrier. Stop in to see it and many other unique handmade items.

Saturday, Dec 12th, Ambridge will be celebrating their Christmas on Merchant event. Join us for the celebration, enjoy the refreshments and let your chilren/grandchildren write their letter to Santa. This is a FREE service that we offer. We have an in with Santa and will deliver their letters straight to the jolly elf. We guarrantee that your child/grandchild will receive a letter back from the jolly one.
