Proud to support Jeff Staton for Story County Supervisor. We need representation in the small towns and rural areas is Story County!

MOMENTUM IS BUILDING! 🚀

I am so grateful for the overwhelming support from people right here in Story County. According to the latest campaign finance reports, we aren’t just competing—we are leading.

Our campaign has officially raised more money than any other candidate in the county, and more importantly, we have raised more money from Story County individuals than any other campaign. This is the grassroots at work, investing in change.

This isn't just about the numbers; it’s proof that our community is ready for a fresh perspective. You are proving that local voters are tired of the status quo and are ready to focus on the issues that actually affect our daily lives here in the county.

I am humbled and proud of the momentum we have built as we head into these final days. To everyone who has already donated—thank you. You are the engine behind this movement.

There is still time to join us. If you believe it’s time for next-generation representation on the Board of Supervisors, please consider contributing to our final push:

Let’s keep this momentum going all the way to Election Day!

Sometimes, there are truly too many details to manage.

I could obsess over how these wild flower arrangements throughout the schoolhouse didn’t exactly dry the way I’d ‘imagined’ and they looked like this all weekend…or I can stand back and say, ‘o well, I can’t care about everything.’

Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn’t. Maybe you saw my trash overflowing and judged me, or maybe you thought, ‘what a good problem to have!’ as I did. Perhaps you noticed our Christmas date cards say ‘2025’ instead of ‘2026’ (all other information is accurate, only the year is wrong!), and thought my word, can she proofread. 😂

My hope when you enter these doors, whether for a market, an overnight stay in our suites, or for a private event…is that you feel warm + welcome, and spend a moment standing back to take in how special this building is.

Maybe you’ll remember my stupid dead wildflowers. But more than that, I hope you laugh about it and remember how you felt inside this historic schoolhouse.

Today we welcome a small bridal party + family to the second floor as they spend the week relaxing + preparing for a Friday wedding…I can’t wait to see how they reimagine + transform the space as we closeout 2026 in the wedding department at Milford.

This was so much fun today!
