We had a whirlwind of a time hosting 50 Fourth graders through our Screen print studio on a Guemes Island field trip. Of all the steps we showed the kids in the screen printing biz process, it seems our photo studio was 100% their favorite stop. Thanks to - the teachers, parent chaperones and our favorite bus driver Gail for helping make the field trip happen! ✨

Next week, two 4th grade classes will visit the shop to learn how screen printing works from start to finish. They’ll get to watch every step, try to screen print themselves, and leave with shirts made by their own ideas and creativity.

We’re excited to hopefully inspire a few future artists, makers, and printers along the way. Plus, any cool points we can score with our 10 year olds is gold. ✨

This batch was completely donated to help support their dog lounge and rescue work. We’re longtime rescue dog people over here at Slow Loris, so getting to team up with an organization doing such sweet, important work means a lot to us.

Today my family and I celebrated my Dad’s Birthday all participating in the Seattle walk for Pancreatic cancer. It has been 15 months since his stage 4 diagnosis & we’re all so glad to still have him with us & appreciate the supportive community surrounding PanCan patients. Even through all the pain, it brings hope for what we can accomplish together when we join forces. If you want to be Strong Like Bull too, (Pop’s favorite saying) we’re raising money for the ’s Laurendeau Cancer Care Fund on our web site - link in last photo to the shirt and details.
