Making your dreams come true one petal at a time....
Hi, welcome to Falling Leaves Silk Floral. I wanted to share with you how my love for floral designing came about. I was probably about 9 years old when I was first learning how to floral design. Back then flowers didn’t come assembled so we did the assembling ourselves, petal by petal. What may seem like a tedious task for some, was something I loved doing from the beginning. My passion for floral design grew as I got older. I was employed at JDS Designs in St Louis Park, Minnesota as a floral designer. During Christmas time, many of us employees worked in the stores called Golden Gazebo.
I would like to give you a little background information on myself. I am a 46 years old mother of 3 of my own children and one stepson. I was just recently married to the love of my life in September. I have three dogs in which I also consider my kids. In my spare time I like to paint and draw pictures of wildlife. I also make cakes on occasion for graduations and birthdays. I went to college for a year for cake decorating.
My life partner encouraged me to to live my dream of having my own silk floral business and here I am. My business is run out of my home in Anoka. You tell me what you want and I will create a beautiful floral masterpiece, anything from home decor, weddings, proms, birthdays, to any special occasion. I am offering 10% off on your first order with the mention of my page. Share my page with others and you will get an additional 5% off.
