Well, I’m going home tomorrow. I asked the nurses at the nurses station if I could get weighed . Dressed in t-shirt, shorts, compression socks and hospital booties! I weighed in at 233.4 lbs!!! On Oct 28th I entered St. Raphael’s Hospital weighing 247 lbs. , so I lost 14 lbs over 24 days!
I don’t recommend this method for weight loss. Surgery on the 28th I couldn’t eat for the first week, very minimal food intake! A week later and after the 2nd surgery still couldn’t eat.
Then on the 6th I fell due to my blood pressure dropping below 50/37. When they rolled me over to lift me I shat everything from my body.
The next day was a 2nd fall. Off the side of the bed. My knees folded up under me strained my quads on both legs! My appetite was null and I had nothing to void!
Miraculously this last week has been a complete turnaround. No high pressure medicine, pressure is 124/93 or very close my appetite returned and I have been on a proper portion size diet!

I’m going to be making a drum bag for my Native American drum that lives wrapped in a bear skin and a small side pocket for my granddaughter Caylin’s drum as well. Pictures to follow later.
