These two extraordinary 70s pieces were just dropped off at the 101 Club last Friday, along with a bunch of other late-summer apparel. You should 🔸run🔸 there and check it out! Also, in September they're going to have an end-of-summer sale with some things up to 50% off, so keep an eye out for more info on that 😊

We found these two lovelies up at a flea market in northern Wisconsin earlier this summer. The chiffon one has this lovely orange trim (that we think was added later because it's covering an equally lovely floral trim; forgot to snap a pic of that). The other one we believe is homemade and is probably some sort of cotton mix; it's a beautiful lightweight piece that can easily transition from summer to fall.

Beatrix wants to show you what she found at our pop-up a few weeks back 💙

We know we're a few weeks late, but we are incredibly thankful to have been part of the market we helped put on in De Pere earlier this month. It was so great to see customers face to face and to work alongside such wonderful creators and curators. It is such a treat to see people falling in love with the items which we so carefully sourced, cleaned, repaired, and researched, and we hope to be able to put on more markets in the future 😁

Also, whenever Beatrix wears this little playsuit, we call her our "Depression baby", cause she looks like she's about to escape the Dust Bowl in her repurposed flour sack 😂

✨Big News✨

We joined a club! Specifically, the You can pop over to De Pere, WI and find our clothing there, along with a selection of pieces from some other phenomenal vendors 😁 Sam and Sophie are probably some of the most genuine humans we've met, and we look forward to working with them going forward!

You can still find us in the Fox River Antique Mall and on Etsy, but now keep an eye on the 101 Club's Instagram for peeks of our pieces in their stories and reels!

🌷Hey Instagram 🌷

We haven't been on here basically at all since November, and there's a host of reasons: losing our child meant we didn't put any effort into the shop for several months, Benjamin started school which means he has less time to dedicate to this space, Hannah has a new job which takes up more of her time, and on top of all this we have been more and more disillusioned with social media and Instagram (*cough* the algorithm and the push to have all creators basically become full time TikTokkers *cough*)

However. We don't want to completely give up on this little account, so we will probably be posting, but much less frequently. We will still share stories of our greatest (and worst) thrift finds and what we're doing with the booth and some behind the scenes of our very messy storage room. We still want to hear from you and what kind of product you want. But, we have neither the time nor the desire to be full-time Instagrammers.

That being said, go check out our booth at the Fox River Antique Mall, cause we just restocked it! And we will be starting to drop more collections on Etsy later this year. Thank you all for being patient with us and giving us grace.

🍃We will post all items at a slight discount, with a brief blurb about the piece, and will offer local pickup on all items and shipping on most.

🍃You can message us if you want to purchase an item, and we will invoice you the price plus shipping. We will also offer bundle discounts should you want to purchase multiple items.

🍃All items will be posted in a story highlight for a week before we take them off Instagram and put them in our booth at Fox River antique Mall.

Afternoon sun hitting just right ✨

We found this vintage print of "Grace" at an antique store out in the Driftless a few years back, and it has since graced (eh, see what we did there 😆) our dining space. Those candle sconces we snagged at a giant flea market in Florida last year, and we were gifted those lovely Hall pieces by (which, go check her out; she's got a fantastic booth up in Green Bay).

We definitely love our possessions because they're beautiful and make our home more cozy, but more than that, they each remind us of a good memory, whether that's a trip we took together or a gift from a friend or a serendipitous solo thrift score.

And more than that, these old treasures connect us to the past: to individuals we'll never know but who shared an intimate connection with the same piece of dishware; to a cultural moment that we can't have lived through but which we can experience a bit more fully by using a 70s lava lamp rather than just seeing them in old polaroids; by listening to an oldie on the vinyl it was originally pressed on rather than on Spotify.

Just sold ✨

These 80s plaid and houndstooth wool trousers were absolute 🔥🔥🔥 on Etsy, getting the most traffic of just about any listing we've had, and someone finally bit the bullet and bought them 😁 We thrifted them last November; Hannah was a bit skeptical, but Benjamin saw potential (it's often the other way around), and when we got home and researched them, we found out they were a designer piece by Giorgio Santa Angelo!

Anyway, we're not sure if it was them being trousers or designer trousers that made them so popular; so please tell us: are y'all interested in trousers? Cause if so, we'll start keeping an eye out for them ☺️
