I wish I had taken a picture of this before I started the initial cleaning process... This one has been a challenge, and will continue to be so.... But well worth it when the end products are done.
The trivet was basically grungy, crusty, brown 🤣 all over when I started cleaning it. I have hit it with every product I use to clean silverplate. I finally put it on the buffing wheel and it removed a good deal of it....will still take a lot of polishing to bring it back to its intended beauty...
The final picture is a pair of earrings that I cut from the tray of the same pattern... I buffed it to show the base metal of brass shining through! ❤️
