Trotter, Inc. Locally owned and operated by the Trotter family since 1962. We provide fertilizer, chemicals, custom application, grain storage, and propane.

Originally leased by James and Virginia Trotter from Brown Grain Company, Trotter Grain and Fertilizer in Arcadia is Trotter Inc.'s first grain and fertilizer business. Purchased in 1968 it originally consisted of an old wooden elevator and bins across the road. The first floater the company bought was a Trico and cost $5500. Everything was manual, it had a width of 50 feet and a little foam came

out of the ends so that you could follow the line in the field. Today floaters have satellite intelligence with variable rate flex-air, and can adjust the amount of fertilizer dispensed according to a grid sampling with satellite mapping. They run around $300,000 today. What a difference between 1968 and today.

Salary Range – $22.00 to $25.00 DOE

Qualifications:
· High School or GED Diploma preferred
· 1 or more years of experience, but will train the right individual

Another fun year at Comstock with Bud and Phyllis. They showed up thinking the were going to drive the float through like always, but we had a little surprise in store for them! This year's theme was The Way We Were. That was Bud's Bar in Comstock for a wild and crazy time. Bud and Phyllis rode along with some of their family members and friends.

We would prefer someone who lives within 30 miles of Arcadia Nebraska(our corporate headquarters) We are looking for someone with C-Store or retail experience. Duties will include filling in at any of our 10 C-store locations when there is a staffing shortage. Assisting customers, stocking merchandise, cleaning and assisting with other duties as assigned . We want someone who is a team player & will make sure we have clean and friendly stores.
