Quilts For Foster Kids - Humboldt County CA We are a growing collective of fiber artists volunteering our time to make blankets for homeless and foster children - happy to accept material donations.

Quilts And Things For Kids In Need
(Foster Kids, Homeless Children, Hospitalized Children, Natural Disaster Victims, Fire Victims, etc). Looking for volunteers to sew, embroider, crochet, knit, quilt and assemble Quilts and Knap Sacks (and other items) for Kids In Need

We love Free Supplies as our time is volunteer as well. Donations can be mailed or delivered to Tanya Nordberg (Private Message

for details). We will have monthly "Sew In's" (I love this idea - it was passed onto me by a wonderful lady on one of the many quilting Facebook groups that I have been talking with. The sew ins will be a period of hours to spend time working on a quilt (or two or three or more). The more people that attend the more quilts we will complete.
