We accept 2 paper bags or 1 kitchen trash bag of trade per day. We do not accept any trade after 4:00.
We will accept premium items in sizes not listed on the wish list. They must be in excellent shape and bamboo, organic, or premium brands such as North Face, Columbia, Carharrt, Patagonia, Tea Collection, Mini Boden, etc.
Please pre-sort carefully. Clothing needs to be freshly washed preferably with non scented detergent. We will not accept dirty, stained or ripped clothing. Make sure jackets have been freshly washed. Shoes need to be clean (no mud or sand) and be in good shape. Toys must be clean, have all parts and working batteries.
You may notice a lot of emphasis on cleaning. Please help us out with making sure things are clean. We will have to reduce the credit if it needs extensive cleaning to make up for time and expense.
If you have larger items or items not on the trade list please send pictures to our Facebook or instagram accounts, text the store at 707-630-5075 or email [email protected]. Please do not bring in large items without pre approval.
We do not accept full size furniture such as cribs and glider chairs.
It's a busy month for the Arcata Plaza! We are looking forward to seeing everyone for Oyster Fest and Fairy Festival! We have everything you need for the latter including wings, tutus, dresses, flower garlands, and fancy dresses. Come check out our Fairy Fest racks soon!
A note about our toy area:
Please remember to supervise your children when they are exploring our toy area! We would appreciate it if you help them understand how to be respectful before you walk away, check on them periodically if you walk away and clean up with them/after them before you leave.
Toys that are bagged up and wrapped up need to stay that way so that pieces do not get lost. Toys on the highest shelves are usually there for a reason, please do not get them down and leave them for children to play with.
Most importantly, please make sure the toy area is cleaned up after use and that children are not making such a mess that other people can not access the space comfortably. We are usually a one person operation and if we are busy in the front it is very hard to keep up with the mess. If toys are broken or bags opened or the toy area is a mess then please bring it to our attention. Thanks!
