I have a customer that has been in the series “The Chosen” for several seasons and was in several episodes. What a joy it was to make a lion and a lamb for her from the tunics that she wore during the episodes. I loved making these animals for her.

When I became a grandmother in 1990 my dream was to make all my grandchildren their blessing outfits. I only missed one as I was in the middle of moving and didn’t have my machine. Then the great grandchildren started arriving and their mothers asked me to make blessing outfits. I am honored to have made their outfits for their special day.
On March 1st our latest great granddaughter, Marleigh, was blessed. Here is little Miss Marleigh in her dress. I love this dress and how elegant it is.

Just made this beautiful eagle for a customer to give to her father. It was made from a shirt that was worn by her grandfather who served in the military. It was so fun to make this eagle and feel her grandfather with me from the stories she told me about him.

I am sharing her review she wrote. “Kathy was amazing to work with, she was seamless to work with and made sure that everything was exactly as you wanted it to be. I also really appreciated how she took the time to learn about my loved one and really helped bring him into the eagle. I could not be happier with the finished product and would recommend Kathy’s amazing work to anyone.”

The past two week have been extremely difficult for me. My sweet brother was called to his heavenly home and there is the biggest hole in my heart. We said our goodbyes to him on Monday. His final resting place is on a hill next to his son and overlooks the land he loved. I miss him terribly but know I will see him again. He is happy with his son, our parents and family that loves him dearly. Love you forever and always my sweet brother.

This next week I have two children in my Primary class that are having birthdays. Each year I make special gifts for them so they know that I love them dearly. This year a reading pillow was made for a little girl and a Peeker towel for a little boy. How very much I love the little children in my class at church.
