This is Sean! Sean is one of my best friends and is passionate about learning new things and acquiring new skills. Ever since I’ve known Sean, he has always had a hobby or something he was working towards improving at. Merry Christmas everyone! 💚❤️ This is Joshua Roberts. Josh is homeless and has been living on the streets of Chicago for 65 days. I met Josh downtown Chicago and asked if he would be willing to do an interview for the brand and he was more than willing. Josh got in trouble with the law a few years back and it led to him becoming homeless. Josh is just a normal guy and brought up the fact that many people are just one paycheck away from being in his situation and that we’re all equal and nobody should judge another person. I urge you not only on Christmas, but every day to hold your judgements of others because everyone has a story and you don’t know what someone else could be going through. A staggering 45% of the over 500,000 homeless individuals in America suffer from a mental illness. Passion Brand Apparel seeks to give everyone a voice because we are all equal and deserve to be heard.

This is Jimmy! Jimmy is one of my best friends and someone I have known since we were 6 years old! Jimmy currently works as a stand-in actor on the set of Chicago PD and is pursuing his passion in acting and film! Jimmy is one of the strongest and most resilient people I know. Jimmy’s father, Dan, was diagnosed with early on set Alzheimer’s disease when he was 40 years old and sadly passed away this summer at 43 years of age. I’ve never seen or heard Jimmy complain or ask “why me?” I’ve only seen him put his head down and pursue what he loves and make the best effort he can to support his family in such a tough time. Jimmy is one of the most inspiring people I know and this short video doesn’t even scratch the surface of his character.

This is Ally! I met Ally while making my last video and going around asking a bunch of different people at UIC what they’re passionate about so I decided to ask her to do an interview with me about her passion! Ally is super passionate about the zoo and animals in general! She is very determined to become a zoo keeper and dreams of going to Uganda to do conservation work some day! Ally told me in her interview that she has struggled with anxiety from a very young age. She has sought out help and sees a therapist to help her manage her anxiety. She’s not afraid to talk about it and open up that conversation, which I think is amazing. Ally says that the zoo and the animals are a safe space for her where she can go and find peace and calm. When we’re kids we’re so full of dreams, ambition, and passion. As we grow up it seems like we can get caught up in others expectations of us and following a path determined by our parents, our friends and peers, or other external influences. Here’s a great reminder to stay true to your inner kid and embrace your passion no matter how old you are! My sister, Sara, created an assignment for her 3rd and 4th grade classes to write down what they’re passionate about or what they want to be when they grow up. These are super inspiring messages and I think we can all learn from children how to stay true to ourselves and never forget what really drives you. 💚
