We turn 6 today!

In 2020 I started Latina Lifters insta, the idea was simple, REPRESENTATION! I never saw women that look like me in fitness ads,I couldnt find gym clothes that empowered me, I just wasnt their target audience. Pero I wanted more than just shirts, I wanted a community. I had no idea what running a business was like, I couldnt draw , design or print shirts, how would I even pull this off? Well Im an immigrant, Ill learn, ill seek help from my community & I will do this porque quiero y puedo! I didnt have investors, I had an amazing group of amigas who believed in the mission, I had a photographer who offered free photos, a tattooer friend who drew our first la fuerte draft, I had my whole corazon and little savings to make this work!
Here we are 6 years later, still standing. Our focus continues to be cominidad, getting more mujeres en el gym, more latinas to connect and meet thru events, and yea our economy is suffering so we slow down our drops, but it does not slow down our mission! We will continue to show up, take up espacio, stay proud and get fuerte af together!

Como siempre mil gracias , for every like, every share, every video you tagged us on, your PRs, your failures, the vulnerable posts, pero sobre for being you!
